Welcome to the Brotherhood. You have a part to play.

Connection. A sense of connection between audience and artistry is what the Miami University Men's Glee Club is all about. We connect in a way that sparks clarity, inspiration and reflection. The performing arts provide us with these elemental experiences, offering a shortcut to our creative selves.

The MUMGC wants anyone and everyone, students and community alike, to experience the transformative power of music. We seek generous partners who want to help us achieve our goal.

There are several ways to contribute. View this section of our website to find a way that suits you best. To receive more information about MUMGC giving opportunities, please contact Dr. Jeremy D. Jones at 513.529.6009 or jeremyd.jones@miamioh.edu.

Fund Descriptions

There are several areas you can designate your gift to the MUMGC. The link above will take you to the giving page to choose which fund(s) you would like to support.

Director's Fund Endowment: (Long Term Investment) The principle of the Glee Club Director's Endowment Fund is invested in perpetuity to provide continuing operational support for the Glee Club.

Director's Fund Expendable: (Immediate Expenses) The expendable account provides immediate funding to help the Glee Club's operational costs on an annual basis.

Doc Wabrick Commission Series Fund:  Funding for the creation of new male choral music, commissioned and premiered by the Men's Glee Club. The commission series, in John C. "Doc" Wabrick's name, honors the lasting impact he had on the Glee Club and countless young men that entered into this brotherhood.

New Guy Fund: This fund helps new members in the group who are in financial need purchase concert attire (tuxedo, Glee Club necktie, etc.) and attend tours who otherwise would not be able to afford to remain in the group.

The Fisher Scholarship: This scholarship was established by Rosemary ('69) and Lee ('68) Fisher. This is the first endowed scholarship in Glee Club history.

The Ritter Glee Club Fund: This fund is in honor of the late Dale Ritter ('68) by Visha and Dale Ritter. This expendable fund helps provide assistance for various Glee Club needs throughout the year.

Steven and Nanci Carstens Glee Club Fund: This fund provides needed administrative and/or leadership assistance to the Director of the Glee Club and can include tour manager, assistant student conductors, rehearsal and concert manager, and public relations - multimedia assistance, and student recruitment efforts.

Kevin Kuethe Glee Club Memorial Fund: Kevin Kuethe was a Brother in Song who exemplified the spirit of the Men’s Glee Club through many contributions including his documenting the history of Club and fostering connections between current members and alumni. Established to honor his memory in 2021, this fund supports initiatives that impact others through service to the community as determined each year by the director in consultation with Glee Club leadership and the Club’s Advisory Board.

Why Give?

All gifts to the Miami University Men’s Glee Club are greatly appreciated. With the ever-increasing costs of performing, touring, concert attire, and other annual needs, each gift makes a difference to the Glee Club. Your gift to the Glee Club is a gift to Miami and helps benefit the student’s overall Miami experience.

Your support also helps sustain the traditions and aspirations of the Glee Club as a world-class men’s choral organization.

We sincerely appreciate all of our generous donors, and without your financial support, much of what we do would not be possible.

OUR VISION

The MUMGC strives to become more than a world-class collegiate chorus. Our vision is to foster a culture of creativity, by exposing students and audiences to life-changing experiences and introducing new works to the men's vocal repertoire.

The donations of alumni, supporters, and the University allow the Glee Club to travel throughout the globe, commission new works and continue to inspire others through the power of music.
